Updated School Readiness Provider Reimbursement Guide
We’re excited to announce that the School Readiness (SR) Provider Reimbursement Guide has been updated! This guide is your go-to resource for understanding the reimbursement process, key deadlines, and helpful tips to ensure accurate and timely payments. Important: Attendance Documentation Submission

Effective immediately, SR/VPK attendance documentation, which is the School Readiness sign in sign out sheets for SR providers and the Monthly SR/VPK Long Form or the Monthly SR/VPK Short Form with sign-in/sign-out sheets for VPK providers, will no longer be accepted via fax or by being dropped off at an ELCP Office for an ELCP Staff Member to distribute to the Reimbursement Team. 

VPK Providers must scan and upload their site’s attendance documentation to the 
Monthly VPK Long/ Short Form & SISO document library folder. Providers
can use any scanner available to them to upload their site’s SR/VPK attendance documentation, or they can come to an ELCP Office, log in to their Provider Portal, 
scan and upload their site’s attendance documentation, and then leave
the office with their original documents in their hand.

VPK Providers need to be sure that their uploaded attendance documentation
is in the required ELCP order and format.  Please refer to the SR/VPK Long
Form Instruction Sheet or the SR/VPK Short Form Instruction Sheet that is
available on our website under the “For Providers” menu option, and then
“Contracts and Reimbursement” button, and then “SR/VPK Reimbursement
Resources and Forms” buttons

This change helps streamline processing and ensures faster, more accurate

reimbursements. Please visit Provider Portal User Guide for step-by-step

share some simple yet effective strategies for enhancing classroom quality, boosting
CLASS scores, and positively impacting child outcomes.

FREE E-Course Training Opportunity: 

ELC’s Early Intervention Dept. is still offering the Conscious Discipline E-Course “Powers of Resilience” to all individuals working at School-Readiness or VPK contracted programs.  This self-paced course contains approximately 10 hours of training videos by Dr. Becky Bailey and a workbook to accompany each of the nine sessions.  

Due to limited space, those who sign up to take the course will have 30 days from
the date of registration to complete and submit their certificate of completion to mcalifano@elcpinellas.org.  If the course is not completed within the 30-day time frame, the individual will be removed from the course to make room for the next participant.

• First and last name 
• School-Readiness contracted or VPK contracted program you are employed at 
• Email address (where you will receive the e-course invitation and correspondence)

Join us for our first BIG Time virtual Zoom session exclusively for
Family Child Care Home Providers on Tuesday, October 7th, from 1-2pm.

This is a great opportunity for Family Child Care Home Providers to log in
and ask questions about behavior management, request resources, or
chat with MaryGrace, Supervisor of Behavioral Interventions, for tips
and support related to challenging behavior. BIG Time will take place
weekly on Tuesdays during the same time.

ASQ UPDATE:

Please check the Provider Portal frequently to see if you have any screenings due.

Please be aware of the required DUE DATE column. Completing the Developmental Screenings before the due date is necessary to avoid progressive enforcement due to noncompliance.

When a screening request is due within 15 days of the due date, it goes into a YELLOW status.  Screening requests are considered past due on the due date and go into RED status. Once past due, providers will be sent to enforcement to ensure ASQ completion.
